Can you protect Novice Astronaut Marshmallow in the Great Unknown?

Designed for the Foundation Stage and KS1, this Dr Anna Does session brings the National Curriculum to life through the lens of ‘Understanding the World.’ We start with what children know ~ Earth, our community, and our atmosphere ~ and launch into the challenges of the cosmos.

Building on school lessons about the Solar System and gravity, we use STEM to explore why space is so inhospitable to humans. Children will act as engineers to ensure our novice Astronaut Marshmallow has a safe journey, discovering firsthand how science and technology act as our shield against the elements of the natural world.
