About Dr Anna

Hello and welcome! I am Dr Anna, the chief mastermind behind my namesake Dr Anna Does. After years of playing laboratory detective with other clever scientists and even helping to build some big scary laboratories in Central London, I had a startling hypothesis that perhaps my true calling lay elsewhere. So, I traded in my white lab coat to work with people who are a little smaller, a bit louder and most critically, much more excited about getting messy in the name of science.

Now, as the owner and director of Dr Anna Does, I create our curriculum themed sessions, bringing the excitement of discovery right to the people who matter most: The bright young minds of the curious! My mission is simple ~ To make sure that those tricky parts of the national curriculum finally click with a satisfying ‘thunk’ for everyone involved, regardless of their age, background or experience level. We take those big, complicated ideas and turn them into the most epic hands-on STEM-based sessions. We work tirelessly on the fun part, ensuring the children truly forget they are actually learning anything at all! I think that successful result proves my original hypothesis was absolutely right.

So, whether we are taking charge of lessons in school or taking our show on the road, I am here to make sure everyone involved can dive fully into our bespoke, hands-on activities. We are always on the hunt to spark a cool idea into a new, burning passion ~ Now that is what I call genetic engineering!
